Many people have issues with getting up every morning and no matter how many times the alarm does its job, they will keep hitting the snooze button repeatedly hoping to catch a few more minutes of warmth and comfort.
Personally, I can do this for hours and I have ended up being late for numerous interviews.
I had to try and mentally train myself on how to bounce out of bed every morning and below are some few tips I would like to share with you that have helped in a big way to be a morning person.
- Have a regular sleeping pattern. Train yourself to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. The body likes to get constant sleep and if you feel tired then it means you have been depriving it. Tiredness is a way of the body saying it is sleep deprived.
- Wake up as soon as you hear the ring of your alarm clock. Get up and sit on bed or put your feet down on the floor to familiarize the body with the surrounding. Draw back your window curtains to let in the daylight as this lets the brain know that it truly is morning and a new day.
- Spend enough time in outdoor activities to help your body clock restore and rest itself. Sunlight is very beneficial for the body and vision.
Older people are said to be early birds due to inactivity and indoor lives.
Enough rest is also said to boost memory in teenagers since the processes in their bodies are at a maximum.
Exercising is important since it helps to tire the body but at the right time. A good routine makes the body more alert.
People who exercise in the evening are more likely to activate the body and stay up longer then have difficulties in waking up.
To have a good sleeping session eat early at least 2 hours before bedtime and switch off from electrical appliances an hour before going to bed.
This sets a conducive mood for sleeping.
And if you need more help, why not listen to a hypnosis track to help you bounce out of bed?
