The basic brain division is in two hemispheres; the right and the left brain hemisphere. The left brain hemisphere does most of the brain activity that transpires into verbal and analytical reactions. The right hemisphere, on the other hand, deals with vision and intuitive activities. Although all this is still in theory, it is thought that people mainly use one part of their brains, hence the terms right-brained and left-brained.

Breath Deeply Through Your Left Nostril
Studies show that breathing through your left nostril actively engages your right brain hemisphere. For most people, breathing out occurs through one nostril at a time, with the body alternating the dominant nostril every four hours or so. This means that the brain has a way of switching between the two brain hemispheres. However, to actively create more dominance in your right brain, consider taking deep breaths using your left-nostril. Thus will engage the right-brain hemisphere and make you more right-brained.
Doodle
People are visual creatures, and this being the main function of the right brain, you can be more right-brained by doodling. Scribble things absentmindedly. Often doing this engages the creative side of the brain, the right side. Every chance you get, scribble something, write something or draw something. Ensure that you have a notebook and a pen by your all the time, and engage in doodling more often.
Write Down Your Dreams
Dreams are part of the creativeness of the brains. Dreams are composed of color, vividness, vision, emotion, and expression. Writing down your dreams engages this creative side of your brain-the right brain. Often, write down your dreams to engage your right creative side of your brain.
Create an Inspiration List
Write down an inspiration list of the things that inspire you. This will actively require you to be creative, and send impulses to the right brain. Ensure that you note down the things that inspire you or make you happy. Impulses sent to your brain will transpire into dreams, and allow for creativeness. This will actively engage your right brain and make you more right-brained.
Do Things Simultaneously
Engage yourself in two or more activities simultaneously. Make sure that you engage both hands and eyes or eyes in these activities. Use your hands and other organs in your multitasking activities. This will allow for your brain to be more engaged and in turn, activate your right brain to be more active. For example, read a book and knit. It is common in women, who mainly have both sides of the brain active, in comparison to men.
Eavesdrop!
Eavesdrop! Yeah. Eavesdropping will make you more right-brained. Mainly listen to other people talking about their creative thoughts. Eavesdropping will invoke the creative side of your brain to correspond to the mind of the one talking. Images created during eavesdropping often send impulses to the right side of the brain invoking activity. More often than not, your brain will create scenarios to suit the conversation, which involves creativity.
