Manifesting “stuff” is something you’re actually doing in your life.
Maybe not consciously but it’s definitely happening.
Absolutely everything in your life right now has been manifested by you. The good things and the bad things – you’re responsible for all of them, even if you don’t know it.
That’s the power of the Law of Attraction.
At this stage, most people have a double take.
Mainly because they’re not as prosperous or successful as they’d like to be.
The question that normally forms is “how come?” or something similar.
After all, you’re not constantly dreaming about lack of success or lack of money. So how come that’s what you’ve got in your life?
The simple answer is how you’re phrasing what you’re always thinking about.
And a lot to do with how our subconscious mind treats things.
Our subconscious mind is the part that takes care of all the mundane, day to day, things. Like making your nails and eyelashes grow, your heart beat, your eyes blink.
It also keeps us on course in our life.
But it does tend to take things literally. It’s good at doing things but it doesn’t apply rational thought to them. It has so many things to look after, it just gets on with them.
One of the ways it does this is to ignore negative words.
So if you’ve been thinking about losing weight – maybe saying something like “I don’t want to gain any more weight”, your subconscious will (maybe not exactly helpfully) cross out the negative words and just use what’s left.
Which in this case would be “I want to gain more weight”.
Hmm.
Not quite what you thought you were asking for.
Take a few seconds every now and then to anaylse your thoughts and check just how many times you’re using negative words.
Then focus on one thing you want to change in life – one is a good number for this, you can always move onto the next item once you’ve cracked the first issue – and every time you think about it during the day (which is probably lots) make sure you remove any negative words and then re-think it!
You’ll gradually change how you focus on that issue and will find yourself starting to automatically rephrase your thoughts.
Don’t panic if you don’t achieve this 100% of the time, Just aim for a gradual improvement.
Over the coming days and weeks, you’ll notice a subtle shift in your thinking and this will help you to achieve what it was you were aiming to achieve in the first place but had been inadvertently sabotaging.
Give it a go – maybe on something small-ish to start with – and report back on your results. I’d love to hear from you on this!
