Instead of feeling like you have lost all that you had, you should look at it as a new phase of your life.

Once you have decided that you are now ready to get back into the game, so as to speak, recognize the things that you would have done differently. Avoid unnecessary expenses that you may have been used to in the past.

You will feel like life is being unfair for the hardships that it is raining down upon you, however have faith in yourself. This will only make you stronger and wiser in the days to come.

Here again you will require the support of your loved ones so do not be afraid to ask for help and emotional support. It does not make you weak. In fact it makes you stronger for being aware of your feelings instead of repressing them. It is the healthier approach.

Move on

Once you are emotionally healed you will find yourself making better decisions in life as well as living with a more positive outlook. Utilize the skills that you have learnt in life to make a new beginning for yourself leaving the past far behind.

There will be scars that you carry with yourself. These scars however will not define your personality and being, rather just be a part of the path your life took.
