They are usually a result of past traumatic experiences that you are unable to forget or outgrow with time.
This may have occurred during your early childhood or adulthood.
The NLP Fast Phobia Cure is a 12 step system that is designed to help you free yourself from these kinds of fears without having to re-live traumatic experiences or suffer the responses that come with phobic experiences.
Follow these NLP Fast Phobia Cure steps to help yourself get rid of phobias:
1. Identify your phobia.
2. Think about the feeling that you had after the cause of your phobia was away from you.
3. Close your eyes and create a picture of yourself in a projection booth, ideally watching yourself on a black and white screen.
4. Imagine that you have started playing a film from your projection booth about your traumatic experience.
5. Still imagining, think of yourself rewinding the film to the time before the traumatic experience.
6. Play the MP3 and let it go on through to the time after you were safe and sound after the experience on to the feeling that came with feeling safe after and before the trauma.
7. Hold on to the feeling that came after you were safe. By the very end of the entire film, freeze the screen to white.
8. Imagine yourself slowly moving from the projection booth and ending the film.
9. Rewind the film and play it out another time, still in black and white.
10. Make sure you play it out in faster speed this time.
11. Hold on to the feeling of being safe after the trauma.
12. Repeat 8 times so that you erase the neural shortcut pathways in your mind so that the next time you experience a similar problem you’ll be able to re-evaluate it and better deal with it.
