Putting The Law Of Attraction To Work

I’ve been following the law of attraction for some time but have had mixed results.

I’ve read the Science of Getting Rich, watched The Secret, worked my way through over half of Rhona Byrne’s book The Magic but stalled, got part way through The Quantum Cookbook but not followed it up, etc, etc, etc.

I know that the law of attraction works but – to date – haven’t been able to reliably put it into practice.

So I’ve decided to journal my progress…

This won’t be an every-day diary. I’m not sufficiently organised to do that and, anyway, life gets in the way too often for that.

But it will be most days, especially at the start where there’s quite a bit of preparatory work to be done.

The various law of attraction books and products differ on whether you should focus on one thing or several things.

Whilst there’s a lot to be said about a single focus, I find I work best if I’ve got several things going at once and I can then choose something from that list to work on according to available time.

So here goes with the list:

  • Health: I’ve lost a couple of stone since late 2012 by following something called the Fast Diet. I need to lose another couple of stone to reach my target weight of around 12 stone, so that’s going to be one thing to attract into my life.
  • Wealth: in common with most of the world, my income hasn’t done as well as I’d like in what could best be called a recession. But since I do believe in abundance, it should be perfectly possible to attract more wealth into my life. And that should be do-able fast. So I’m going to set myself a target to attract enough money to double my net income in the next 30 days, which will be by the 12th June 2013. Eek!
  • Health again: I’ve been a follower of the Bates Method for better eyesight without glasses but I don’t use the simple eye exercises regularly enough. So I’m going to attract better eyesight to myself, partly by using the exercises more often.

Three things should be enough for now.

Any more than that and I’ll lose track of the things I want to attract whilst I’m figuring out how to make the law of attraction work. Reliably!
