If you’ve not tried self hypnosis before, getting hold of a free self hypnosis MP3 download can be a good idea.
They’re a good way to trial whether or not you get on with using hypnosis – most people react positively to the suggestions that are made whilst they’re hypnotized so there’s a good chance that you will as well.
You could do a search on Google for free hypnosis tracks.
Sometimes you’ll strike lucky – you’ll get a good quality track and the only “price” will be giving up an email address.
Which, if you’re like a lot of people, will likely be that special email address you keep purely for signing up to free offers.
Because lots of us are trusting like that!
Other sites unlock your free hypnosis track but on condition that you share the link on Facebook or somewhere similar.
That’s a good marketing technique but it does mean that you have to “go public” about your download and not everyone is comfortable with that.
Then, naturally, there are apps for your phone that offer free hypnosis tracks with the inevitable ads or in-app purchases.
Again, those are a good idea and can give you a sample of what to expect with hypnosis and you can read other people’s reviews of the quality of the tracks before downloading the app.
Maybe I’m a bit old fashioned but personally I prefer to listen to hypnosis tracks on headphones.
So my personal preference is for an MP3 that I can download and burn to CD (I told you I was old fashioned!)
There are quite a few sites that offer free tracks that you can download that way.
Regardless of the option you choose, it’s worth sampling two or three different sites.
That’s because the voice that’s used in the tracks varies from person to person so you may find one that relaxes you better and resonates more with you that another site with seemingly the same content.
Whichever option you choose, make sure that the site uses qualified hypnotists to write the hypnotic scripts.
You’re sending instructions direct to your subconscious mind and whilst hypnosis can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do (contrary to what you’ve probably assumed from watching TV shows) it’s still worth making sure that you get the best possible quality even if you’re not paying for the track.
I’ve been involved with hypnosis since the mid 1990’s – before free hypnosis tracks became available – and I’ve done a lot of research into some of the best places to get free and paid hypnosis MP3s.
